Lisa Goodwin-Allen

One of the most innovative and exciting chefs in the UK today. Lisa leads the Northcote kitchen which has maintained its Michelin star since 1996. She draws inspiration from the beautiful Ribble Valley landscape to produce creative, stunning dishes which showcase the wide range of incredible produce the region has to offer. This year, Lisa won the coveted Chef of the Year award at The Cateys, and has been shortlisted for Sqauremeal Female Chef of the Year, and the AA's Chef of the Year. Her impressive culinary skills have landed her regular TV appearances including Great British Menu, being the most successful female chef on the show, Sunday Brunch, James Martin’s Saturday Morning & BBC Morning Live.

Niall Keating climbed the culinary ranks by working in renowned kitchens across the world, from Restaurant Sat Bains (2*) in Nottingham to Benu (3*) in San Francisco and Kong Hans Kælder (2*) in Copenhagen. In 2017, Niall was awarded his first Michelin star at The Dining Room at Whatley Manor Hotel, Wiltshire, just eight months after opening. 2 years later he was awarded a second star at the age of just 30 and went on to earn one of Michelin’s first green stars for his sustainable methods. On his shelf are a plethora of other industry accolades including Michelin Young European Chef (2018), Rising Chef Trophy (2019), 4 AA Rosettes and BBC Great British Menu ‘Champion of Champions’ (2020). In 2021, Niall Keating opened his first restaurant, Lunar, in his hometown of Stoke-on-Trent.

Obsession Food Festival

Obsession first took place in 2001 and was created as a celebration of great food, wine and a meeting of friends, old and new.

From that first event, its size has grown but the ethos is still very much the same; a completely memorable culinary experience with some of the world’s most innovative chefs creating unique Obsession menus for guests to enjoy at Northcote.
