James Martin

One of the most recognisable chefs in the UK, James Martin’s
classical training has set him in good stead for his food career.
His numerous tv series include James Martin’s Saturday
Morning, Islands to Highlands, Great British, American and
French Adventure and countless appearances on ITVs This
Morning.

Working under the guidance of chefs including
Antony Worrall-Thompson, Marco Pierre White and various
Michelin star chefs in France led James to become junior pastry
chef at the acclaimed Chewton Glen before opening Hotel
and Bistro du Vin in Winchester as head chef. James Martin
Manchester opened in 2013, housed within the Manchester235
casino. He also has 20 cookbooks to his name including Home
Comforts, Sweet and Driven and he also writes for The Daily
Mail’s Weekend Magazine.

Obsession first took place in 2001 and was created as a celebration of great food, wine and a meeting of friends, old and new.
