Sixteen years of culinary excellence at Northcote
It’s was feast in every sense of the word, a celebration, a fiesta, a festival of incredible food... and wine.
But Obsession is not just about the food, the wines, the service, it's not formulas that make great festivals, it’s the people; the chefs; the staff and the guests at the 16th year of Obsession, when we celebrated 16 nights of pure gastronomic brilliance!

The Chefs
OBSESSION 2016 brought an exceptional line up of local, national and international talent to Northcote. Each chef created a unique menu, custom made to showcase the very best of Lancashire's and the North West's fresh, local produce. It was an incredible line up with 18 chefs travelling in from five continents with a combined total of 17 Michelin stars.
The Obsession 16 Cookery Book
Nigel has been working with this year's guest chefs to create the Obsession 16 cookery book. It’s packed with 100 recipes from the festival and gives a true insight into how top chefs of Obsession 16 create their restaurant dishes, PLUS a look at their favourite ingredients and the inspiration behind their regional recipe.

Great British Chefs
Once again we are delighted to partner with Great British Chefs, the fastest growing food website in the UK, for Obsession 2016 to showcase the work and recipes from the world's finest chefs at our annual gastronomic festival.
They will bring you some exciting short films which go behind-the-scenes to unveil some of the amazing hard work and creativity the chefs put into each night at Obsession.
